Juwairiya contacted me about doing a test shoot. (she found me through Google, how awesome is that?) She's interested in getting in with an agency and they're wanting to see photos of her first.

I love pet portraits. They are so much fun...and require NO retouching! :) Brolly is a sweetheart. He belongs to a coworker of mine, and her and her husband spoil him rotten (which is exactly how it should be). I love how serious and regal he looks in his gray sweater sitting in the Adirondack chair (even when he's bored with the photos and yawning). And as tough as he may want to look in his skull sweater, well, he doesn't, its just cute.

This is WAY overdue, but I thought I should add this one to the blog along with the previous post about Reverie Magazine. What a year 2011 has been. So much has happend both personally and professionally, and I'm pretty happy with where things are headed. Earlier this year, Denver fashion designer Fallene Wells saw her dream of being cast on Project Runway come true.

This has been out for a while but I thought I should add it to the blog. I had a wonderful editorial featured in the October issue of Reverie Magazine. I really love these photos, and worked with an absolutely incredible team. I submitted this editorial to several different publications so it was nice to finally have one be interested in showing my work.

It feels like we've been planning the Forever Darling show...well, forever. And now its right around the corner, this Friday, September 30th. If you're unfamiliar with just what FD4 is about, it is an annual charity fashion show, featuring local designers, and put on by Fallene Wells, a local fashion designer, hair stylist, and Project Runway Season 9 contestant. Fallene puts so much work into this event, and donates all of the profits to charity.

Wow, its definitely been a while since I've updated the ol' blog. Don't fret, I have been shooting, and editing, and planning a wedding (yikes, 2 months!) But I've been working on more magazine submissions and I can't share those, which is frustrating because I LOVE them and want to show them to the world. All in due time I suppose.

I had an amazing photoshoot last Sunday, but alas, I can't share those photos (another set for magazine submissions). The submission process is...well...humbling to say the least. But I love doing this, and I love the people I get to meet and work with, so its worth it. BUT, I can share some amazing photos from todays shoot with the always awesome Katie McConnell. Katie is a local model/actress who is heading off to London in 2 weeks (lucky girl) and needed a quick portfolio update. She's always a joy to work with, and photographs beautifully.

RUDY! I love Rudy. I've known him for a while. He belongs to a former coworker, and I haven't seen him in years. He's such a sweet dogwho really couldn't wait for us to finish up our photos so he could take a romp in the stream behind us. Thanks Chris, you guys are awesome.

I'd heard so much about these dogs I simply couldn't wait to meet them! (Harper even has his own FB page) They were as sweet as their reputation that preceeded them and they hung out long enough for me to get some good shots. Scout's (first dog shown) had a rough year and has been through several surgeries on her hind legs, so it was great to see her enjoying herself prancing around the yard and laying in the sun. Looks like she's on the mend!

Emily wanted some headshots done so we tacked her on to Ella's photoshoot the same day (they're cousins). Super cute girl who's also very photogenic and was fun to meet.
